Lost a custie today so why am I bothered?
« on: November 05, 2012, 04:38:04 pm »
Lost a custie today because in her words "your just spraying water at the windows and anyway we don't need a window cleaner in winter". I know I'm well shut of her but it bugs me a bit don't know if it's because I didnt get in first or the fact that she thinks I'm not good at my job.  :-\

Don't take it personally, I have given up trying to suss out customers . . . . they are just strange !

Funny how you can have a decent round with lots of brilliant, but you can let the one idiot get you down.

Move on my friend and spread your wings. . . .fly  ,fly like an eagle. . . . ." I believe I can fly I believe I can touch the sky
I think about it every night and day spread my wings and fly away.

Had one woman came out this morning while I was cleaning next door, "can you leave ours until spring",she says, no probs, I will be in hibernation anyway says I, needless to say it went over her head and needless to say when she comes to ask me in the spring I will either refuse or have had a steep price increase depending on how I feel on the day.

There are some real nutters out there mate.
Got one this aft cleaned WFP last 3 times but they've been at work.
Ran up the street today bawling "If you're going to clean them with that water thing don't bother anymore. It's made a right mess my wheelie bins are all wet!!!"

I get the odd weird custy and I always wonder how they would react if I said "No probs, I'll do the next 6 cleans for free" I bet they'd change their tune! LOL

i usually try to fire back at least 1 hurtful comment if they insult.  thing is,some of them thrive on a row so you can easily end up upset if they are experts in arguing
