Region: Scotland
Location: North & South Lanarkshire
Type: Domestic
Monthly Avg Value : £12,000
Established For: 6 years
Comments: Well established quality window cleaning round, all done with traditional ladder method, in the North & South Lanarkshire areas. All customers conditioned to all weather cleaning, during all year round. Good payers: all usually pay cash on the day. Plenty of scope to build the round more, as new customers join every week. Selling round to concentrate on a business abroad. Plenty of extra work including gutters, pvc cleaning and power washing etc. Weekly average turnover is £2,400. Willing to split round up to sell as follows: North Lanarkshire Wishaw/Newmains area £25,000. South Lanarkshire Carluke/Law village areas £30,000. South Lanarkshire Lanark area £4,000. The complete round is sold at a discounted price of £45,000. No timewasters please, as we are all very busy and I am not interested in leasing the rounds out or paying for the business in instalments. People looking for a serious business oportunity only. Please contact by email first.
Asking Price : £45,000

Thats a steal if it is so real. You will need extra staff! How many staff does the owner have working on that monthly average? Also you will have to go VAT registered. Serious consideration needed on that one!

I looked at this yesterday - id definately look into buying - if its genuine, what a steal - you'd make your money back in less than 6 mths

Get a couple of a lads working it, pay them a decent wage, sit back and retire  ;D

If it was nearer me I would have a look,however,12k a month trad work in Scotland might not be quite as easy as some of you guys down south might think, you are prob looking at a wage bill of around 4K (if you are adding this to an existing business) to complete the work plus the other expenses.

No it would be 4 men to cover 12K of work,I would need 4 men to do the work as I am already full up,if you are able to work on it yourself obviously this would bring the wage bill down, which is why I mentioned adding 12K of work on to an existing business

KS - no problem just gauging your breakdown of wages etc..  and of course you lose another 20% to vat

4 men ( all employed ) would seem to be somewhere in the right ball park - i'd prob include myself initially just
as a meet and greet of the new customer base - do you think the round comes with staff ?

The weather is not a issue either as it states all weather cleaning.

£2,400 weekly is £10,400 not £12,000.

Just a thought.

Darran
Yes he would probably have some workers who would want to continue to work with the new owner. The round would still be a good earner for someone but based on the work up here it would not generate the same profit as down south,so not as much of a bargain as some might think.I pay 3 x the clean for trad and 4 x the clean for WFP
