Defying the laws of Physics
« on: November 03, 2012, 01:01:53 pm »
Hi

had a friend of the wifes who got a quote from a carpet cleaner.

Says that for the price quoted he would only be able to 'bring the dirt to the surface'  ;D

But for X amount more he could do a deep clean (yep, heard that one before)

So not only does the laws of Physics not apply to his machine whereas his machine will only bring the dirt just to the surface and not go up the hose but why would anyone even offer such a service, where you leave all the dirt just floating around at the top of the pile!!!

The world gets ever weirder

Nothing surprises me.

I was once cleaning some stairs and the custy came to watch.
She said the last carpet cleaner only cleaned the steps and not the risers.
When she asked him why he did'nt do the risers he said.......

well it is half price cleaning you know  :o

i was cleaning a carpet for a lady a few years back, she asked me if i cleaned upholstery and what equipment would i use, i said yes and the same machine, just slightly different kit and solutions,i asked her why, then she told me she'd called a guy who advertised upholstery cleaning in the local rag, he duly turned up equipped only with a bucket and a sponge and asked her for a squirt of fairy liquid !   seriously,  i said, i hope you sent him packing, no she replied it took him all day but he did quite a good job !!! give me strength :o
