Ironing pricing New

my wife is thinking about starting an ironing service, how do you price this ???

You can either price per item or per bag.

item is far more profitable as they can shove many more items in a bag and people will always take the proverbial  ;)

best to call an ironing service or send some items off yourself, shirt, trousers, etc, see what they charge and set your prices accordingly.

I'd suggest working out on average how many items you can complete in an average hour (10 shirts, 10 trousers, etc) and then work out how much you want paying for that hour. Don't forget to give yourself a reasonable amount of profit.

Also, need to factor for any travel costs (or other expenses) you might have.
