that is what I thought, but being here and knowing the area I decided on £80 still didn't get it, it is a lot dirtier than the pic as well, in fact they are black or almost,

he said £50 and I will let you do it ;D I was about to say do it your self and you can borrow a ladder for £20

then he said think about it and let me know :-\

it was funny night tonight, a first for me was a customer who's mrs is away for the weekend asked if I could sell him some dope ???

anyway back to the pic I was thinking four hours work at least

I don't much of this type of work Ben so I could be over cautious on the time, more interested in how long you lot think and I can work out a price from that

Hi Stu - to do all the soffit and fascia (inc Gable ends) should take you around 2 hrs - the fact that are very dirty adds
little to the time and 99% on the time it lifts off very quickly 99% of the time, the dirt just helps justify the price  ;)
(or not in this case  ::) )   wouldn't do it for less than £120

It could be the opposite that some wc under value themselves.

£120 is what I'd charge for around where I live in Brighton.

coming from manchester i'd say £120 is a complete rip off.  even more so in scotland.  i think 80 quid would be a fair price for you and the customer.  location makes a massive difference to the price.  i'd bet the price of a house in falkirk is damn cheaper than a house in brighton.  always think its a bit unreliable asking for prices unless they're in the same area as you

if you went on the hourly rate and doing it buy yourself, some of you are pricing at £60 per hour for one man, you got to think of the extra work that you may possibly get off the neighbours, I would have gone in at £80 with the gutters vacuumed as well, it's amazing how much interest the gutter vac creates.

£60 ph for specialist 1 off job  is nothing special as a business rate - and thats what needs to be kept in
mind here it's a 1off clean not a regular window clean you need or have brought equipmnet to reach the
gable ends or over the conservatory plus time/petrol to and from the job + the time to go and quote the job.

why would you do a job like this to only earn what you would cleaning windows ?

Does any one use a power washer on these? I did one with wfp and found it a bit of a drag but money was good. Would like to do more but thinking of using a power washer.

I doubt that would take me an hour. Perhaps those that say two or more hours do a better job. I did just last week a bigger house than that with a con roof in 2 1/2  hours. And they were filthy.
