All sorts of different types... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AUTOMATIC-ELECTRONIC-GARDEN-HOSE-WATER-TIMER-LCD-SCREEN-CONNECT-HOSE-PIPE-PLANT-/180853099324?pt=UK_Home_Garden_GardenEquipment_HandTools_SM&hash=item2a1baf4b3c
This one is just an example (it may not do what you want, just illustrating a type) many other types depending on the use.

hozelock and gardena do a few timers - either look online or go to a decent sized garden centre
most of them are set to turn on and off at set times each day - designed for watering gardens & greenhouses whilst you're on holiday

Are you looking at a battery or mains system? For a mains system we have these
http://www.springltd.co/node/116

It has the advantage of also being able to operate a 12V booster pump

The mains controller i gave the link to will allow you to set water flow rate pump run time and how often the pump runs.

The timer software is available on the 12V DC controllers as well. the mains unit is likely better suited to a static RO in a garage the DC version if its in the van.
