Cobwebs
« on: October 14, 2012, 06:18:41 pm »
I have had two customers in the last week call or text a couple of days after I cleaned the windows complaining that they noticed that they have a large cobweb on a window and checking I have cleaned it. How long do they think spiders take to make cobwebs? Does it occur to them that the cobwebs could have been spun since I cleaned them?

Not long....

I have had a few windows with the cobwebs stuck to the glass and they don't half take a lot of scrubbing !!

had the exact same issue with a customer last week. i just told her that they start spinning a new web as soon as I've finished cleaning the windows  ;)

Did you read that on a website?
Sorry, I've done that joke before but couldn't resist. I like spinning them out, don't I?
Weave got to stop this silliness, though.

What did u tell her steve?
She said that she thought I may have missed the window. My reply by text was "hi j. i definitely did clean your kitchen window as I noticed that you had estate agents deatails on the window ledge. Hopefully it looked clean. If not, let me know. Cobwebs are formed really quickly. Steve." Reply. "Oh ok. Just checking" to which I replied "No worries. Enjoy the rest of the weekend."

It takes them a bit longer if you stomp them when they hit the deck.
if it is dirty it is fair game
