Have a look at this link. It is my DIY system,  based on an aluminium sack truck from machine mart. Cost £60 but it is a heavy duty one made up of square section
alloy. Sqare section is much easier to bolt things onto.
Your choice of pole will depend on the height you want to reach. I have an Unger telescopic pole that can go to 33ft. It comes in five sections that fit inside each other.
I have yet to use the 5th section as I only go to second floor windows. This pole is cheap, light, and the spares are cheap too. A lot of us use Vikan 10 inch brushes for domestic work but Gaz's salmon brush is cheaper and does the job just as well.
I have an 85amp hour battery that fits into a box resting on the axle between the wheels. I modified the design after the picture was posted.
I can still put the battery in the pump box if I wanted it to power a different trolley or van mount system.
A battery this size will last for days if used with the Varistream flow controller.
Good luck with your project, and have no fears. Once you make the move to WFP you will never look back. Dai

I built it over a period of time, starting with the trolley. Yes I built it myself but it was matt that inspired me. Most of it was built from scrap. The container rack is only an old ladder. The tray at the bottom was an old kitchen worktop I salveged from a skip. The pole scabbards[I now have one each side] are made from waste pipe held on with exhaust clamps. The only holes I drilled in the sacktruck were in the toeplate. Every thing else is held on with home made clamps. The hose reel was a car boot item and I wouldn't be without it. It holds 30mtrs of 6mm I/D hose.
It was easy and fun to make, few people realise it was something knocked up in my shed. It's a fact that when people see somethng bright and shiny they think it's high tech. Oh, and if you can afford the Varistream, it's a great bit of kit. Dai

Hi Wightstuff,

Have a look on our site under how do I get started with WFP. It tries to answer a lot of common questions when starting out.
