Funnily, I used to but never get wet arms now. Don't know why.

Check you've not got a leak in your pole hose  - I've had the hose wear through where it goes through the pole to the brush.

same here. its the angle of the pole i recon. when doing fascia's, soffits & external guttering plus downpipes. i try and over lap my gloves over my waterproof jacket this stops the problem.

thing is my gloves are not only not waterproof but there to short on the wrist to stay overlapped  ;D

i try and avoid doing this kind of work though cos its bloody hard on the arms/shoulders etc. hence the reason ive not bothered to get better longer gloves

If your cleaning windows then you have the wrong angle. If its a tight space then work from the side.

It happens when im cleaning gutters so what i do is have the clamps facing down so the water drips off the clamps and never gets to me
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

It often happens when there is a pinprick hole in the hose, usually at the point the hose is on the floor when the pole is collapsed and its stood upright (something we should all avoid doing, but don't  ;)  )

if it does get past the clamos thn a simple rubber band just after the last clamp will stop it.

Normally the brush angle at head causes it as said or split pole hose
