Your own account (trading name) can be handy if you add your town in it.

People use Facebook as a search engine more often than I realised. Join your local trade group too. Got lots of nice customers through it and it's great for when someone asks for a good window cleaner as people recommend you once you are known to the group.

Keep it sperate from your personal account though.

I had a girl from my local trade group do mine. Just go to Facebook and register a new account. Call yourself Somewhere' Windowcleaner. Use a new email account not a personal one. Just like joining this site. Add a few bits of info and you're done. New Facebook account set uP, join any local groups and 'add friend' to all the housewifes.

Housewifes choose window cleaners 90% of the time.

Then just post updates from time to time to let peoPle know where you are working the following week and see the enquiries grow.  Absolutely great for feedback too. All their friends get to hear about you into the deal.

just create a page from your account a lot easier you can manage a page from your account as you will be the admin you can also use Facebook as your page. Page views is a costly way to use Facebook adverts as it is not targeted although seems cheaper you need to split test many adverts to get the best roi , hope that helps

Facebook pages are rubbish on iPhones and android though. Also posting to groups can be fiddly until you get a required amount of likes.

Keep it separate IMHO. You can in fact have a dedicated window cleaning account and add pages to it for each area you service. Great for sustainability, growth and expansion.

I've had Facebook advertising running for a while... Only ever had a few clicks... I keep forgetting to delete the Ad, think I will go and do that now  ;)
