Alternative to fogwash.
« on: September 29, 2012, 07:50:54 am »
Seeing as Peter hasnt got any fogwashes in stock and doesn't respond to emails or phone calls, I decided to look elsewhere for a heater.

I came across this one. Has anyone tried it? It does have a 20 min cut off, but would this be a problem on residential work or can it be removed. Looks like a very good price though.

Looks just like an L5 mate, I'm told the auto cut of is
Just 1wire to disconnect on the exhaust,  if you use a pole tap
Or aqua adaptor you probley won't be running it
For longer than 20 mins at a time any way.
I think I'll try one of them for the money!
Half the price that everyone else is selling the for
And just the same thing..
keep it simple

The reach to clean one is an 8L which had been suggested that the minimum flow would need to be quite high

This looks interesting, requires not ventilation, and can run at 0.8L/Min

CUT OFF DOESNT REALLY MATTER IF YOU HAVE FLOW CONTROL ON YOUR POLE, TAP..AQUADAPTER WHATEVER AS WHEN YOU SHUT THE FLOW OFF I.E. FROM FRONT TO BACK OF HOUSE THE TIMER RESETS.
WE CLEAN BY FAITH, NOT BY SIGHT WITH WATER FED POLE WHEN WORKING AT HEIGHT.

Yes mate. I would go for the one in the 1st link as that is exactly the same as the L5 and its a good price.

Ask for a sample unit,.. prob cost you less that Peter was selling them for. Only downside is 3 weeks waiting for delivery:

Ordering from China is easy, just postage is slow & occasionally you get caught for import duty.
