Has anyone for a fogwash/L5/other heater and run 2 pumps from it?
I remember reading that slumpbuster had the pumps after the heater pulling the water through, buts he's gone so I can ask him. So has anyone else done this?

i was thinking the very same today.
already got a fogwash in 1 van and gonna add another operative to the van . and this would save a few quid.

Surely pump needs to be before heater to ignite it? Thats how i thought it worked, i doubt it would ignite pulling through...i could be wrong?

Also why dont you just go 1 pump, heater, t peice 2 reels. Cant see why that wouldnt work. Just like having 2 hot taps in a caravan if you think about it.

I run 1 pump 2 reels, without a heater but it works fine with just the 1 pump.

I 'pull' through mine. The heater isn't designed to take much pressure. Get too much and it blows out of the valve underneath.

The blue hose is from the pump and heater into the manifold the 2 red hoses are the hot out.

That's a smart way of doing it. Does the controller cope of with 2 poles, when one pole gets turned off dies the other get a boost in pressure?

We use 6mm thermo bore so only a little bit. But if one dead heads the hose for more that five mins all the heat is going to one pole, so we don't stop the flow for long periods.

Yeh and if you think about it, if your both working together properly you should be finishing around the same time anyway.

I now use two in feeds, one blue for cold in and one red hot in.

I put a T in before the heater, if you close the hot and open the cold then no water goes through the heater. So you can chose to have hot or cold  by turning on the relevant tap.
