I know a few lads on here use this service and I just wanted to know if it helps them out a lot and is worth what they are paying

You can have your landline calls diverted to your mobile, so you dont miss any calls. I think there is a charge for doing this but not that much, probably cheaper than having an answer service.

yeh, it can cost if you get a lot of calls, but if its business and not just time wasters or family pestering you during the day then it may be worth the cost you would have to work it out.

I use anserve costs me about 80pence a call

Much more professional than mobile or a/machine

They answer in your company name then text you the call, works really well

Thanks Tony

Like you say its a bit more professional and if for what ever reason I can't answer I won't miss one

Would think about diverting my land line but I want my work mobile just to be work related, my house phone dosent stop from family and friends to those dodgy call centers

Daz your wrong mate if you are a one band man then yes not worth it, but if you have multi vans and get a high volume of calls then you would want to use thi sevice. The bigger the company the more complicated it gets mate, just remember not all people want to stay as a one man band like you, others have higher plans and to some missing a call from a new custy is one to many in there books.

We use an answer phone service and it easily covers its costs, i.e

you have a landline phone number advertised on your van you get home listen to your answer phone messages and by the time you call them back the caller has already chosen another company,
you are on the road and a neighbour of the house your doing wants a quote for there windows to be cleaned, the answerphone company take the customers details and emails to your phone instantly

you could simply miss the call, hence lost a custy

average months cost are around £60...make sure you agree with the answerphone service not to send sales calls through as that can double your bill

Try ldc pagers, will answer in your company name and relay the message by pager, costs around £15-00a month all in, no set up charge, good for just starting out.

Neither

I dig out the company mate. Only cost me £8 for a local number. Custys prefer local numbers
