Was using my backpack today.

When I finished i noticed runs on the windows where the water had dried. Had to end up doing them TRAD in case it happened again

Checked my TDs was 003.

Any ideas ?

Yes it was and I also had the flow quite low to save on water

it can take a couple of cleans to get them right sometimes you need to do lots of scrubbing and rinsing on first cleans mate.

I find that aluminium frames are the worst for streaks.

Think I might need to up the flow and rinse more. I used 50 litres on this house, had 25 windows. Does that sound a lot of water or not ?

25 windows,i would think nothing of getting through 200 litres on a first clean!

The flow needs to be as high as it will go.

I always set loads of time and water aside for a first clean, as you only get one chance to impress the customer.

I try to educate them with how the system works too, I rarely get a call back with a first clean.

200 litres ! How much do you carry on board then if you use that for just one clean ?

Tony if you are not carrying much water and are hoping to get by using very little water by setting up wfp using a back pack .

You are going to struggle mate you need to use twice as much water as normal , You might need to use about 75 liters on 25 window house , Mike

200lt is a bit ott imo really but you do need a lot more water then what you have used i would have said around 80-100 but i guess it really does depend on how bad they are really so there isn't a actual amount that you can say you need.

200 litres bloody amateur ;Dlike the poster said above about seventy five ltres,maybe less
depending on size of window is there any bays etc  how much frame you have to clean
and what condition the frames are in.

at least you spotted the problem and corrected it,next time it will be easier
i use backpacks itend to have the flow higher for tops and a little lower for anything
thats eye level.

will be few months before you see potential problems before they happen,anything
that you arenot sure of then run a squeegee over the ground floor windows to dry
them off at least then if you miss anything you have at least reduced the effect.

i still do it occasionally now with first cleans i just tell the customer im just double
checking my work and i have one or two problem windows on my regular work
that just wont take to wfp...they are all ground floor though

Use tap water full blast then quick rinse with pure.
