I'm not a window licker, but have done it with carpet munching...It is bloody hard work, and you keep thinking about the custom and the money you earned before, but you have to just get your head down and start from scratch.
any idea where you may be headed?
We've you been big fella
Ive done it twice... what do you want to know ? Considering doing it again though is just a thought at the moment
I would have no hesitation what so ever in doing this.Summit me and the missus have talked about as currently got house on market and fancy a move to the coast which is about an hour from here so plan would be to build a bit at new area and sell a bit in old area and rekon in 12 months would totally be in new area.
I'd love to do it mate - id go down to Cornwall (love holidaying there)The wife has looked at Tenerife too! What with the way the housing market is, it's not financially viable I know it's not the same George, but a lot of my work is various days out of my local town - the furthest days work is nearly 100 mile round trip, so the variety makes a nice change
as long as you are within an hours drive just travel while you build up. Think totally starting from scractch prob be hard work as everybodys a windie nowdays. Wouldnt fancy it
i moved a few weeks ago and some days now have to drive 20/25 miles. If thats how you feel go for it i wish id done its years ago lovely having a fresh start and will pick up new work in time but with out worring.
LAst time i sold up and moved 40 miles away. Lived on the money from my old round while i was canvassing the new work. Get the timing right and you can be back up and running in 6-9 months depending on how hard you push yourself. When i moved i found that i had learnt alot from the first round and took that knowledge onto the second round. Im earning the same as my first round, but around 80 less customers per month. Im more confident in my pricing too (which went up from my first round).
