Ive got a combo and i love mine, ive got the 1.7di engine so i cant comment on performance. I really love my van tho, ive got a 350 tank in back, i have the crew cab and i just about squeezed it all in with 2 reels. Theres a over head compartment and if you mount some pole holders in roof the poles go in perfectly.
Yes, you're right the 1.3 diesel in the Vauxhall is the Fiat engine. Superb engine and just about un-bustable.There are lots of Fiat bits in lots of other cars too - the new Astra is the Fiat Bravo and the new Ford Ka is based on the Fiat 500.

(tank and reels)
Ive just gone from a transit t260 to a combo ... 3 days in and wish had done it ages ago.bit short on space for everything but getting there slowlywith transit was spoilt as fitted everything in now just needs a little more thinking.ive got a 1700d with 600kg payload and use all of the 600kg so prob better going for the 2000 model with 800kg payload bit in fairness to it it dont seem to struggle at all even when fully loaded.
