Hose connectors

Hi
Does anybody use anything different?
I use 8mm microbore hose and use a brass hose connector to connect to the wfp but after around 8 weeks its starts to leak out everywhere even if I take it apart and pack it out with ptfe tape. I purchase these from Inics which is where all of my set up is from but its a real niggle when these start to leak as Ionics charge a fortune for these fittings, any info and places they buy different fittings from would be appreciated

If it's the rectus fittings put some protecta balls over them.
Had mine on for the last 6months and no leaks still

Yeah it is the brass hose lock type but just go through them all the time, I know of other local cleaners complaining about them too, they also buy from ionics for the same fitting

Try changing the rubber "o" ring. These wear down quite quick and start to leak. You can buy about 50 of the from eBay, £3 or so.
Have a look at the fitting and you can prob see where the "o" ring has worn and squared off.
