So its safe to say that winter is only a few months away now and i have been thinking of hooking up a new pump controller with one of those frost stats since the end of last winter. I'm not happy with running a heater out unless really needed unless it drops that much in temp and to stop the 4040 from freezing and cracking.
Are there any reviews, pro and cons etc for these? I am still running my Fogwash so it will need to work along side this.
Obviously looking for the best deal that's out there, who is the best to buy and the one to keep away from??
Thanks guys...
There are many ways to protect your RO tank pump ECT, a frost stat controller is just one. Have a look at
http://www.cleanitup.co.uk/smf/index.php?topic=155271.0They are available from our distributors who will have them in stock.
These controllers will operate with either a diesel or LGP gas heater. (info at)
http://www.springltd.co/node/91Depending on the ambient air temperature RG it does not fall well below freezing you may also find that creating a flow (putting the end of the hose back in the tank ) would be enough to stop the system freezing.
A controller with a Temp probe will still switch the pump as temp falls below the pre set range.
There are a number of these controllers about with many being part of a complete hot water system.
If you would like specific info as to where to get these controllers please drop me an email
