Gutter vac poles
« on: September 19, 2012, 03:14:56 pm »
Hi all
I bought a gutter vac a few months ago and have been getting a good bit of work from it but i find the poles are a bit heavy and not as easy to use as advertised .

I cant really do above conservatories ( apart from really small ones ) or any out of the way awkward gutters as the poles are to heavy at an angle .

Was thinking of investing in a set of carbon fibre poles from grippatank ( £400 ) .Does anyone hav these or know if they,r any good ? and are they much lighter than the aluminium poles ?

Pretty sure they are sl2 sections from gardeners..  Carbon fibre is ALOT lighter than alloy
Only those who risk going too far will truly know how far they can actually go

I held one of these at the CleanItUp VanFest as the GrippaTank team were there!

We got it up to 60ft and it was so light and easy to use even with the connection on the end - that's correct they use the Gardiner Poles!

Did they feel rigid enough ?
