Pressure washing gutters out
« on: September 18, 2012, 08:07:30 am »
Does anyone use a pressure washer with a angle bend and nozzle to clean out gutters instead of a gutter vac?

Any helpful hints or tips if you do would be appreciated.

I usually ladder the small jobs, vac the others and only pressure wash the outsides, facias and soffits. I only ever use the hook and a zero nozzle to clear blocked swan necks.

Thanks for the info chaps. I have a gutter to clean out on the insides for one of my window cleaning customers but she has a great big front porch/extension and I know I won't be able to get it off a ladder the pitch would be ridiculous but I don't want to let her down so was just wondering if I could use it just for this run along the front. But I did think it might be messier than its worth as she said it might be full of moss( I have not had a look yet)

This is an argument I've had with an American recently on one of my videos.

Many American's blast them out and deal with the mess on the ground later. Twice if not 3 times as much work. The American way isn't it to make a big deal of things.
