Cellotape on PVC

Hi folks can you help me please,customer has good bit of cellotape on her PVC door (used it too hold letter flap down but ocd on it!) is there any solution to put on the residue to soften it up so no damage occurs to door ??

What colour is the door?  Is it a door panel?

Hi
Peel it off and then remove residue with white spirits. If it was on the letter box flap, I would leave.

Simple thing of white spirits! I was over thinking it...cheers spruce.(I seriously didn't think that :-\)

It's all white 45....but gold letter box but wasn't going to near that.

lighter fluid works as well  ;D

but do not smoke whilst doing it  :P :P
