Mailshot addresses - any more ideas?
« on: January 25, 2006, 08:37:03 pm »
Hi all,

I'm compiling a list of mailshot addresses that actively target commercial properties.

So far I've got 42 addresses of local properties (not including schools; that'll add another 20 at least) I (think) I would like to get the contract for.

I've covered the following:

Hotels (the bulk of my mailshots)
Restarants
Business Parks
Care Homes
Libraries
Large Pubs
Business Parks (Not in Chepstow though)
A few other places that don't come under any of the above headings.

Have I missed anything?

For example, I know a local window cleaner who does quite a few office blocks (which I haven't targeted) but are lucrative.

Given that my local knowledge isn't as good as someone whose lived in this area all my life; has anyone any tips on finding those large(ish) properties - away from the above mainstream ones - that always want a window cleaner?

I have actually thought of doing this, but haven't gotten round to doing it.

Cheers for giving me the push though.

I'm not sure if it'll be improved, but different.

I'll send it to you no-probs and would like some feed-back too, but you'll have to wait till I've finished fannying about with it.

Tosh,

Have you tried all the local cleaning companies, as we only do internal windows so i'm sure there's others that must be like us.
When i price work i don't offer it as an option, but i'm forever being asked
Hope this helps

The guy living next door to me  employes about 10 guys. They fit partitions and suspended ceilings. A lot of this work is for clients that have, or are about to move to new business premises. It only occurred to me after reading tosh's post what a great contact to have. I have to print some flyer's off and he said he will drop them in for me. Dai
