Builders clean

I am doing a builders clean tomorrow outsides are covered in cement along
with the expected dirt and grime was wondering how every one else would
approach this?
I normally will go over all windows with wfp very lightly first then go back
over with ladders, using scraper and traditional for cement then go back over ever thing
again with wfp is there a better way for lifting cement of glass?
Would I be better just going over everything traditional to start with?
Has any one got a must have chemical for builders clean?

I had a bad experience with a builders clean and vowed never to do one again. Get them to sign a disclaimer re scratches. Once clean, any scratches will be very visible and the normal course of action is to blame the wc.

Thanks guys.
Was thinking of using warm tap water first does any one know if putting warm/hot'ish
water through a backpack would affect the pump.

I too will now never do builders cleans again. They are too much hassle, but I would suggest wtp first then trad/scraper as it will get all the dust off then you can detail the windows for cement snots.
You must get a scratch waiver first, this in my opinion is a must as every builders clean I have done has had scratches left from builders or suppliers. I always point them out as we go and explain its their liability and also gauge their reaction to see if they are at all bothered or if you think they are going to be a pain in the arse.
Best of luck

I used to do it full time for all the big boys , persimons , wimpey and the like , get a scratch waiver as said above as they will stuff you big time , and trad is the only way in my view , lots of soapy hot water , let it soak into the crud , and use only quality blades and change regularly.
Good luck , not my cup of tea anymore .
