Been out today to a solar panel field.

The client needs every solar panel cleaned every eight weeks

Ive detailed a price for each visit but would like to compare with others as this is the first of many i need to price.

If I was bidding for that, I'd suggest working with them.  They must have a zillion sensors on that kit. Tell them you'll clean a section, see what the increase in output is and come together to agree a balanced price and frequency that makes sense for both of you.

That way you'd be setting yourself apart from all the other people they have asked to quote (who are just going to go as low as they dare) and making it not just a price-based decision.

Did strip of four this afternoon, they were impressed with how clean they came up.

The solar farm is approx 10 weeks old.

thats how i was doing it on my calculator but tried to explain in monetry terms

Minute a panel - three weeks' work.  Jeez...you'd need a sanity check.

I'll say it again - work with them and price won't be the deciding factor.

Im sorry I didn't mean that to sound arsey.
But when I saw the pics the job looked very easy to do as the panels are not high from the ground.
And you could most probably get away with using soft water (not necessarily 0ppm), as the finish would not be as visible as it is on windows.

We do a few domestic ones on 3 monthly basis and charge them £3.00 per panel (£42 for a 14 panel job), that is a massive job if you get it.  It would be a great weekend job for someone, set them away with a full tank, 6 hr shift, over the ten weekends they should be just about ready to start again at the beginning.
