Jeff,
I must say that having had problems with a RO system ( a friends not mine) I found them to be rather aloof and patronising when speaking to them or e-mailing them, although the problem was solved I didn't think too much of the way they treated customers. I was first told to call the company who supplied it to us rather than themselves!!
That was just my experience, may have caught them at an off time, but it has put me off using thier products.

I returned a RO unit without any problems (nothing wrong with the unit, just change of mind). Thought he was pretty reasonable, talking to him on the phone.

I had a damaged unit from them, it was only an elbow connector which cost about £5. I kept calling and emailing them and they didnt reply. In the end I had to order it and pay for a new part myself which I wasnt to pleased with. If there is another company out there that has the same setup and prices then I would go to them.

I returned my booster pump for repair on 29/12/05 I called the other day to check they had recieved it as I had heard nothing
from them, and was told they were waiting for a spare part.
We will have to wait and see,

To be fair to RO-Man
you cant expect to buy at the cheapest prices and at the same time get the best customer services.
Its not financialy possible for RO-Man to have a service team waiting at beck and call to answer questions and sending out spares..... Why not you ask ....
Telephone techinical staff need years of experiance to be able to solve problems without seeing the fault.
Staff of this calibre are expensive and if you want the best service you have to pay the price for all the back up staff needed.
You could buy a same size RO manufactured by TGI in California the largest manufacturer in the world for small ROs they have three supervisors doing quality checks on each RO before they are sent out, they have a whole department dealing with customer service and dedicated laboritories carrying out tests.
But the price of the equivelent units are three times the price of RO-Mans

i have phoned them today but they cant seem to find my pump there, they said they would look later in the day after sending out todays orders. so it,s possable the post have lost it,
Hope not i dont want to have to go through the hassle
of trying to get compensation out of them for the pump.

Glyn, your right
RO MAN is VERY cheap, and i guess you get what you pay for, the goods seem to be ok, so i guess customer service is the downside
though i must admit, everytime ive had a problem, ive allways been happy with the outcome

Helpful in the brief emails, but hard to get responses.
Otherwise goods seem well priced.

Phoned ro-man yesterday, they dont have my pump so i tried to trace it through the post office. They are next to useless,
it,s my own fault for not sending it registered post, so let this be a warning to you all.
So i guess i will have to bite the bullet and order another one
from ro-man.
