I'm not taking the p Ross I just want to know how? What techniques etc etc, I want to do the same.
Let's say you have 9 hours on glass (which is a lot I know) that's 540 mins.
100 houses means 5.4 mins per house and that includes collecting talking to custie if they are in etc.
How do you do it?

He was joking, I think, DG.

Sorry DG, I was taking the mickey but not out of you.

As anyone who has cleaned window trad style knows full well, some of the claims made on CIU about the number of houses cleaned is just a pile of ...........

I've just done four 3 bedroom semi's in between having a shower and cleaning my teeth and sitting down in my chair.

DG - it's not how many you clean, it's how much money you make. For me when trad, between £60 - £90 I thought was ok but there again, all the kids were grown up and gone and I had no mortgage.

i have some very compact estate work that takes 8-9 days to clean and its virtually every house on both estates.this work has been built up over 18 years.

they are pretty cheap prices but i can rattle them off in pretty good time on maintenance cleans.i also pick up conny roof cleans and fascia cleans from them.

i dont work gung ho! anymore!i prefer a brisk steady pace with the odd cup of coffee and 5 min chat with customers here and there so 20-25 is realistic for me.i usually finish before 430pm as well.starting at 9am-10am.

likes been said its not the amount of work but the prices of the work being cleaned.

i have lots of other work that i clean that makes me a fair bit more money in a day and i clean say 8-10 properties and sometimes finish at 3pm!!

swings and roundabouts! ;) ;D ;D ;D

best wishes to you all

I can assure anyone on this board that I'm not talking bull, and that when I state number of houses cleaned I am being 100%honest I wouldn't like to have to work like a madman all the time but I'm restricted to weekend cleaning till Christmas then I'll be free of my weekday job

4S don't think anyone thinks you're talking bull, I could easily do that many in 8 hours if I knocked about a bit. I usually only work for 7 hours trad after that I get a bit fed up. If I hammer it too much puts me off wc for a bit so I try to keep a brisk pace I can easily maintain.  :)

i dont do trad to often anymore except for a few places where its simpler

so not as quick as i was , yesterday going pretty leisurely i did 10 3 bed semis , with big bays up and down a bedroom window above front door , and most have porches on front door , 3-4 bathroom /kitchen side windows and 2 bedroom windows , lounge and kitchen at back , did 10 in about 3.5 hours

they are underpriced though so earnings not great , id say around 20 - 25 is a good number to aim for but it depends what your charging and what you want to earn

hi danny not sure how many i could do , but one bit of advice i can give is be carefull who you employ , for instance the lad ive got working with me ,well where do i start , he leaves streaks on the windows , whenever he reels the hose in he gets it tangled , he,s abrupt with the customers and to top it all off on the worksheet yesterday instead of the old ladys name he simply refered to her as PAIN IN THE ARSE , now thats not very profesional is it all she wanted was a price for her conny roof poor dear  :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'( :'(
the more flyers i post , the luckier i seem to get ...

Bloody hell Paul it sounds like you have employed the lad I got rid of the other month haha.

Danny I would of bought your work but just spent my pennies on something else so I'm running low on extra funds at the moment
