ice on the glass?

hi all   i can you wfp guys tell me what you do when the water ices up on the glass as you are cleaning it as i have just had so many probs doing it the trad way  had to get my scraper out to get the ice off  been -1 this morning  in sunny southend on sea :-\   how do you do it with water fed poles   as i am  ??? ::)    thanks   stu soon to be wfped up :P

With WFP I don't think there is a solution as anything added to the water could lessen the purity.  If there were a prolonged spell of freezing weather, I would temporarily ditch WFP and use traditional methods by mixing a decent load of screenwash into the water bucket.
IMO (though I doubt HSE would see it this way) this would constitute a "no reasonable alternative" situation.
