I never used to like door knocking either, but it's the lesser of two evils. I found the choice was, knock doors and get compact work, or don't knock and get work scattered all over the place.

Yes Paul, critical mass being IMO around 400 to 500 compact customers. By the time you reach that point, then the slow and bad payers would be filtered out. As I said though, the answer to money problems in this (simple) business, is more customers.
