It part of the game in all businesses really. its all about who you know, not what you know. doesnt really apply to us unless you just deal with national contracts etc
It most definately does apply to us.
A lot of our commercial stuff as come as a result of knowing the right people; friends of clients who own pubs, shops, etc; the wife of a friend who manages a big property management company who asked for and accepted a quote for a big window cleaning contract, even though we went in dearer than the last lot.
It's all being in the right place at the right time or knowing the right people.
