« on: August 20, 2012, 04:51:41 pm »
first time i have used fan jets got them from Gardiners last week after ordering a pole is it normal that  they dont seem to work very well under normal pressure but work great when i turn the pressure up but then i use more water .In my opion you dont get as much control with them but they do  seem to clean great and that fine mist seems to look more proffesional than jets pouring out what do you think ?

Yes we had one set recently and they are not good, i phoned them and they said they are bringing new low pressure ones, in my opinion, they should have done few tests on it before release it on the market, so hopefully we get new type in few weeks time.

I have carried out quite a lot of testing on these myself and they work very well with a narrow fan pattern which does not foul on the bristles. However it seems that they do work best with a higher flow rate system (which is what I work with). As you have mentioned we are bringing out in a few weeks time a low flow rate version with a wider fan pattern. This will suit those that like to use less water and want a wider spray coverage.

Anyone who has bought the current ones and does not find that they suit their system preference can simply contact us and we will happily send out the new ones as free replacements instead. Hopefully this way we can keep all users happy  :)

I had a pair from The Cleaning Warehouse (Wolverhampton) the other week and I must say they are briliant. On No,2 setting they give me a fan about 15" They said they were good but I thought that was just sales talk. I did have to clip some of the bristles each side of the fan. Have you done that?
