200 bar/3000psi non return valve
« on: August 01, 2012, 09:06:28 am »
Looking for four non return valves that will handle 200 bar & 3000psi.

Anyone know where they can be purchased from. Have spoken to the service people and the technical guy isn't in today.

Want to get the ball rolling ASAP

Many thanks

Rob ;D

I've got four 15LPM Yanmars and each pair are going to be connected up to make 30LPM!

I am linking two 15LPM pressure washers to give me an output of 30LPM, the PSI remains the same. The non return valves stop the flow from one pump hitting the second pump (if there is a problem)

Mine are going to be attached on a short piece of hose (on a reel) - about ten metres on each machine, just before the quick connect connectors!

After the non return valves there will be a Y connector (quick connect and this will filter two hoses down into one hose!!.

Does that make sense?

Exactly what I bought them for mate 2 years ago after watching Nigel's video in Florida. I'm presuming you've watched it too.

I am sure it is something that came up after reviewing topics on the American forums but I tend not to watch videos but recently I have been spending time, trawling through the back posts on the Pressure washing Institute forum and this would have pushed it forward.

I am coming up to my busy period and have the two vans rolling but the 15LPMs just aren't cutting it, after using the H & M so that's what they are for.

The second van - Iveco LWB is massive and I can easily fit all of the kit in, two machines out of the back and two out of the side, with heat as a clip on to any machine and a genny for anything else - lights etc

Update on this

Spoke to supplier this morning and I am having two Thor Y splitters, connected up to quick release with non return valves in the right place and they should be with me - if I am local!! early next week.

How much were yours Lee?

Think it was £60 rob, two check valves, hose and female QR couplings and T splitter from Lancashire Hose in Bolton. Same as Nigel has done in video.

Think the valves are about £15-20 each

The Thor Y connection is heavy duty and comes in on its own at £90.00

Great vid
Why would you need 30lpm
Is it for rotary floor cleaners only or what other reason?
Psi wont go up just flow rate.

Cheers cliff

Ps ive got a large rotary floor cleaner with 4 jets and some jobs i have to take 2 jets off to increase my pressure.
With 2 jets i get 15lpm with 3500psi
And 4 jets i get 15lpm with 2500psi

So extra flow rate might increase my pressure  on rotary floor cleaner ?
Or just increase flow rate on rotary floor cleaner ?
Cheers

The H & M is 35LPM and once you are used to having that flow rate nothing else will do!!!

I get frustrated when back on 15LPM when rinsing. It's immense the speed you can whirl-a-way, turbo and rinse particular jobs.

Rob what FSC do you use and what nozzles for youR H&M?

On our Lombardini we've got 3 x 03 nozzles 15 degrees. Mint flow, great on flags, yorkstone etc but not cutting block paving moss as good as I thought.
What cuts through better is the 18'' Whirl-a-way with 2 x 15025 nozzles 15 degrees on the same Machine.

Ive got an 18 inch whirl away & a 22 inch something else but I haven't used them yet with the H & M.

Never seen to find anything that I think will be done quicker with a FSC!!!

We have been on a very, very sandy approach road today, Tarmac and on the flat nozzles. Couldn't tell you what size the nozzles are but I used to have one turbo nozzle and a flat nozzle now Ive got 4 of the biggest turbo nozzles ever, and nozzles for single operator/s and then nozzles for twin operator/s and then nozzles for Sundays, Mondays & Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. ;D
