Have any car valeters been on training courses?
Are any recommended?
Is it all just trial and error, it sems a bit risky if you're dealing with someones pride and joy.

I'm a window cleaner, but used to be a valeter.
I much prefer doing cars, but couldn't rely on steady customers like window cleaning. :(

I worked at a few main dealers, and was trained on-site by Autoglym themselves.
Absolutley brilliant, they give you tips you'd never have thought of.

I was doing cars for the Motor Show at the NEC soon after.
It doesn't get higher standard than that.... ;)

I'd imagine Autoglym would train a sole trader though, give them a ring - should be easy to find.

To be honest, it's pretty hard to ruin a car once you know all the ways to correct things.
If you need any help with anything else, I'll try to help.
I'll keep an eye on this thread.

Cheers, Rog.

As stated prior Autoglym do a residential course as does AutoSmart both run courses for a reasonable price, been on both when push comes to shove it's all about using the right tools for the job don't expect to make a fortune right away it's a hard slog but worth it in the end attention to detail is the key phrase on both courses best of luck.
