Window cleaning round for sale
« on: July 20, 2012, 08:27:28 am »
round for sale in hale done 4 weekly takes roughly £900
89 properties ive had the work for about 8 years now, either cash as you clean or they send a cheque. the work is spread out over about half a mile, and can be done either trad or wfp

asking price £9,000
i will not rent it out or take installment
due to other commitments, this round must go, and is slightly negotiable

What kind of work is it ?
Terraces, semis etc

How long does it take to clean, for say 2 men ?

and when you say flexible, put down exactly what your bottom line is, because obviously you want £9k, but thats alot for £900 work

Thanks

chris, its all domestic, spaced within half a mile, its a mixture of terraced, semis and detatched, as for being flexible about the price, well we all know that this type of work in the northwest is like rocking horse xxxx at the moment, hence the 10 x the clean,
over the last six months, ive noticed the prices creeping up, i enquired about a round last month, the guy wanted 10 months money on fortnightly work, thats 20 cleans
anyway if you are interested, get in touch, and we can discuss the finance of it, im not prepared to talk about it on here as i am sure you will understand,
regards
jim

are you interested in the round, or is your post just a passing comment?, as i see you are based in the northeast, and im assuming you wouldnt travel over here to clean £900 worth of work

Everclean,

anyone asking for 20 cleans is seriously never expecting that to be paid.

Maybe im old school, but then again i have been window cleaning for 28 years.

I would never pay 10 cleans for monthly work, just my opinion.

I know of quite a few rounds that are for sale at the moment, and im not bothered if i buy any work or not to be honest. (give you a percentage)

I have work near hale thats why i was asking.

But if you know anyone thats prepared to buy work at 20 cleans, give me a shout  ;) because i will sell all my work to them seriously.

I have some very good work that i rate as the top end of the work, which would command that kind of money - thats if anyone would be prepared to pay that, and i would even throw in a van  :)

Lol, wasnt it you who offered me a round in sale a couple of years ago chris?...and if I remember rightly, it was £600 fortnightly, with anasking price of £7200, ....12 cleans anyway, no worries, you cant blame anyone for trying to get the best possible price, and a round is worth what someone is prepared to pay, ive had 17 x the clean on monthly work in the past, so anything is possible, at at the end of the day, its just business
All the best
Jim

No,  i dont have any fortnightly work anywhere near sale.

I have monthly work in Sale and if it was £600 i would have wanted £3,000.

Think you are either getting me mixed up with someone or your figures are wrong

I know lads who have paid 15x on mediocre work
I wouldnt , but if you have the money and need/ want the work bad enough then it is still a sound investment if the rounds are good

i haven't ever paid over 5x but have had the odd dud round, would rather pay more and get decent work

If buying a full £6k a month business then 5-10 cleans would be acceptable but for a measly £900 of work 3-4 cleans max. I remember you trying to sell work b4 neverclean.

Well, all your suggestions at 3times the clean are way off the mark, took deposit on the work from real window cleaners, not the type of people like some of you whove got nothing better to do than come on cleanitup, cos youve got no work....

I only come on now and again so can i be classed as a proper window cleaner ?  ;)

28 years experience, can keep 7 lads going constantly.

I even refuse work as i am seriously picky with what i do and quote for.

currently on a £20k job at the moment for 3 of my lads, should take 4-5 weeks.

the other lads taking care of commercial and large properties

Yes i am blowing my own trumpet before anyone comments, thats because i started with absolutly nothing, and feel pretty proud of myself that the hard work and decision making is slowly paying off.
