Hi Guys
have any of you come across this stuff for painting on windows to protect from the evils of the construction trade (plasterers) etc Grin. You then peel it off and there is a window and frame in showroom condition.
Cheers

Neil,
There is a product called "Windocoat 4930" that you spray or roller-on.
Go to
www.strippablecoating.com
Other than that go to
www.protectiveproducts.com
for protective films.
I don`t think these websites are british based, but you could contacting them to see where they distribute.
good luck

hi there,
a lot of the new build windows arrive on site with the self adhesive film already protecting the glass.
one issue is the length of time that this film , can remain in situ, before breaking down.

Hi Martin
Problems with the plastic film are that after a time it can either start to come away from the window or the adhesive bonds to the window and it is not easily removed When the plastic comes away from the window they are exposed to the trades again.

hi neil
oh i know, we have one site out of all of our sites where this is a problem, its cause the protection is delaminating, on to the glass.
we have had a site meeting, but they just dont want to know. we will pull off site at the end of january, im not prepared to take the grief.
we have other sites that are more appreciative of our services, and are more profitable.
regards
