Hmm, I think it will have to be fixed properly in place, and not with some penny washers. Seems quite top heavy, and if you'd ever need to brake hard or have an accident it will be more prone to breaking loose.

Coxreel, Reelcraft and Redashe better pack their bags!!!  

On a serious note, my Redashe 460 reel is engineered much better then that.

I manage to make mine last about 8 months, then they give up - I'm talking about metal hose reels like this one:



I might get a stainless one from ionic next, more expensive but apparently lifetime guatantee?

i bought the single hose reel from purefreedom and one side of the hose reel is now warped i think the metal is to thin.

 prefer to have my reel outside van  as connections always  drip and leak , also can lock van up ,   any would not fancy liffting that in and out of van

Looks the part tho-my vans are now double crewed and this looks like a good solution to the nightmare of loose reels(in/out the van-who winds in first etc..)

Gardiners have sold this type of set up for ages. Personally i think i can build my own one of these with some angle iron and a welder. id just fix my current hose reels inside the frame i can make

don.t buy there hose reels there maid of thin tin and will warp the spindle will go stiff I had  2 reels from them my guys were conplaining of pain to there arms due to the poor quality spindle they start to split where the bolts join to the plates
sent 1 back got replace 2 months later the same thing happend to the replacment took them out of the van replaced them with gardiner hose reels again.
