How do you get the taper thread tight enough on the brush head to stop it turning or coming loose on the pole neck and yet make sure the brush head is horizontal?
Do you use PTFE or something similar to pack the taper.
I have put a small self-tapping screw through to stop it turning 'cos it was driving me nuts.

Run your angle adaptor under the hot kitchen tap for a couple of minutes. Do the same thing at the brush holder end.

When the time comes to unscrew it, do the same thing.

interesting tip ! - always bound the thread with electrical tape  :   will try out the hot water tho !

I use ptfe tape as you wont always have access to hot water during the day if changing brushes . good tip though will give it a go today . Mike

It would be good if Alex could design an angle adaptor/brush where the brush could easily be locked in position to save messing around with tape etc.

When spending around £40 on a brush it would be nice to have it fit solidly onto the angle adaptor

CARBON GOOSENECKS IS THE ANSWER!

get 3 of em and  screw 3 different brushes to them then they are interchangeable with alexs quick release system.

you dont get the annoying brush movement you get sometimes with screw on thread normal angle adaptors.you can reach the skylights easier and deep sill windows with ease!

I agree with dazmond actually ordered another one friday this time with black sill brush

stick each brush head on a quick release spigot and convert your pole or add the QR for the A/d then you only
need to line up the brush once and changing during the day is quicker than unscrewing and reattaching

Basically the brush needs to be tightened sufficiently to stop it from accidentally loosening. Sometimes this may need to help of someone to hold the gooseneck firmly while the other persons tightens the brush head until it is tight and straight on. Once done like this it will not move again.
