I bought and built this fishing pole from a MAP commercial fishing pole as a back up for my Garbolino converted fishing pole as I'd heard horror stories about them snapping all the time, but I've never needed it.
It's a modular pole, equipped with a BRAND new Gardiners superlite brush and brand new swivel quick release gooseneck,
And it comes in a shoulder bag for ease of storage and carrying..
In these two pictures the pole has another section to add on the bottom, it's a 40ft pole plus your reach on top. If you buy extra butt sections they can be added to the pole taking you much higher.
There are no creaks or damaged joints. There is a professional repair on the number four section, this was done before I bought the pole, but it's as strong if not stronger there than it was before! The top section can be used as a 1m short pole, the yellow pole hose stops there (1m) with an EZsnap male connector, the joints have all been taped so they don't go too far on, it's ready to use!
If you've not used a modular pole before it takes a while to get used to, and you DO have to be a bit gentler with it than other poles, but the sheer LIGHTNESS of this pole MORE than makes up for being more careful! The whole thing, all sections and brush, weighs only 2.6kg, (bag included). You'll buy it for your big jobs but you'll definitely find yourself using it more and more for medium and smaller jobs too, well I have anyway!
The only thing I'd recommend is buy an old golf bag, the kind that stands like a tripod, it's SO handy for taking the sections out as you need them and standing your poles into as you take it apart.
It's a good pole, it's only been used on the house above to demonstrate height.
