The wonderful world of rug cleaning.
The Kirby g4. Six year old 2nd hand.
Initial vacuum clean of face of rug then flip over, face down onto ground sheets. 30 slow double passes, stopping at every 10 to peel back rug and remove debris from ground sheet.
Then I decide to check if the bag's getting near full. It's almost full and I haven't got any more on me so...
The Sebo bs46. Nine months old. Half full bag.
Again 10 slow double passes on back of rug at floor setting no.1. Flip the rug back... A bright light and a magnifying glass will reveal some dust!
Try again but on floor setting no.2. Same result.
Out of interest I got the almost full Kirby bag back out of the bin, set it back up again and did another 10 double passes, flipped the rug back to reveal the recognisable large scattering of dust, grit and so on that I've got used to with this Kirby.
Does anyone else use one of these dinosaurs?
