That's only got 26 AH, for another 20 quid you could get a 75 AH leisure battery.

I spent a fair whack on my first leisure battery (I can't remember how much; about £100); it was a good make, 115 AH, and I looked after it; but I only got about a year out of it and it wasn't very good towards the end of its life.

I now plan to buy cheap and just replace when necessary.

I bought a 115 AH Leisure battery and lasted only one year too.

Get a cheap voltmeter from ebay and go to your nearest scrap yard.

Don't really think that the first one has sufficient capacity.
Good that it's an AGM which is preferable but the number of times that they cycle is dependant on how flat it goes.
Get the highest amp hour battery you can, stick with the AGM, and keep it topped up.
My AGM is ten years old and has just died - split charging system helps lifespan too but mine has succumbed to age and one cell has failed.

I use 2 75ah yasusu battery's, they are 3 yrs and still going strong.
I rotate them , one or other is always on charge, use 1 for a day , put on charge , put other battery that was on charge in van.
Used this way saves either battery getting a hammering ,
Use a good quality intelligent charger and they will last ages.
My first battery only lasted 1 yr , constantly deep cycling, plus using a cheap battery charger , meant it did not last very long

We have a bank of ex-submarine AGM's hooked up to a wind turbine and in the last power cut we ran house essentials for 18 hours.

I thought about fitting a split charge relay, but decided against it, as I don't do loads of miles between jobs.

  yet again - get a battery from an old mobility sccoter, they will sell you them at a scooter dealers shop second hand for next to nothing.

 I have been using 1 for the last 5years, it will still run my pump using 500l a day for a fortnight before it starts to drop off.
