Canvassing competition part 2
« on: June 25, 2012, 05:33:04 pm »
art'noon all
Any one up for a mini canvassing competition this week?
No prizes, just for fun  :) (who said canvassing was fun?)
Gonna have another push this week-planning on 4 days on my own and then my sister has volunteered a couple of days plus one of my team is coming out with me on one of the days making a total of 7 man/woman days knocking days.
Havent really got a target in mind, but somewhere near or over 20 new cleans should do it.
Plus had a bit of a cull of some of the dross I've been persisting with for too long(the rounds are getting tighter and betterpriced so the messers and timewasters can do one!!) so need to replace with better quality work

Regards
Roy ;D

Bloody Hell,

There was me thinking I'd had a good day.

I got
1 £20X4 weekly
1 £7X4 weekly
1 £8X4 weekly (this guy said he's coming on my round next month!)
1 £10X4 weekly (who told me after her clean that she's moving before next month but has got my number, we shall wait and see!)

I picked them up and cleaned them today. I've also done a bit of networking and a Lady in there said that he friend manages some properties and they has a massive window cleaning operation take place in the summer and she asked if I could provide a quote. (I'm thinking I best get shut of the Escort van and get a Transit sized van and a bigger system pronto!)

Colley, that's sounds all good my friend :)
If any one else is peeking,I'm not bigging myself up-just want to show what's avaiable if you are serious about your business.
Sounds like your doing all the right things (networking etc..)
If you grew your business by four cleans a week for a year like you are doing, you will add 200 customers and be looking at expanding ;D
Sorry if it sounds like I'm teaching you to suck eggs, but it gives me a buzz when people are successful through their own sheer determination and hard work
I use these little competitions as a real motivator and it really gives me a kick up the backside to get out there and get knocking!!
I'm out tomorrow mate, hope you are too ?

Hi,
I have three vehicles( 2x full time wfp,1 x used for jet washing/canvassing)
2x full-time windies plus 1xpart time
1xpart time office girl(saturdays only-doing the boring stuff I can't stand)
Me ,front of house as it where, and my lovely lady ( company accountant and partner)

Hoping to make my young part timer a full timer by the end of the year.Hes a good lad who hasn't had much luck.Hes on the next impact 43 course and then I'm going to get him through his driving test.If it all pans out,I would like to get him a little van and his own round of smaller domestic stuff-but we will see

Hi Jonny bravo - don't think of it as a waste of time because you didn't get the results you were looking for - a waste of time would have been if you had sat on your a**e at home in front of the telly or something - at least you got up and got out and had a go.
Keep at it.
G.
