Ok, not everyone is going to agree with this BUT .............. get rid of your prices pages !!

You are taking away your prospective customers one remaining reason to phone you !

Try it and see if your response rate improves - what have you got to lose ?

I would rather use my skills at selling to close a sale rather than rely on my website to do it for me. Your website is a shopfront, don't rely on it to do the whole deal for you.

Think I'm talking nonsense ? One of my sites alone brings in excess of £20k per year !

I was already top for certain search terms so it's more than that.

Longevity, Saturation, Multiple Areas, Multiple Services - to name a few  ;)

Pressing print screen take a screen shot and copies it to clipboard. Press it on the screen you want, open paint, then click 'paste'. You might want to crop the image so we can't see the paraplegic midget porn you're watching.

Too many options, don't like the word art - its a bit 90s.

A special offers page I think is worthwhile (I've got one as well as a proces page - and am also considering losing the prices page).

The 1st thing that struck me was WHAT YOU DO ALL THAT FOR £60 and that's how others will read it. Then thinking about it (and only because we're in the trade) I realised that means any one of the 6 options for £60, but will others see it that way, because you could be having a few arguements down the phone line with potential customers over that.

Word art. Might look ok on school posters but not giving out the right signals to the adult base you are selling to.

I noticed when I did a prices page that it was the most popular page, which seemed like a good idea at the time but it stops customers ringing because they had something to compare against other carpet cleaners without the need for a phone call. I then dropped that idea in the hope that people would look at other pages which I can't say really happened. What I might try is resurrecting the 'Prices Page' but just fill it with something catchy enough to make them call.

derek west

Just thinking out loud but it would be surprising what you could do for £97.72 in an allotted time scale you could be onto something.
