Best way of generating custom....
« on: June 14, 2012, 03:19:24 pm »
Hi all,

I have a Wheelie Bin Cleaning business in Reading, Berks and am looking for any advice and suggestions on the best way of generating custom..

Currently knocking door-to-door gives me the best conversion but is time consuming.

Would appreciate some advice,

Thanks

Gareth

Have you tried using a canvasser? should allow you to focus on the service and sales should continue to flow

There are many ways you can attract new customers, locally, there are only 5 steps to achieving a constant flow of customers.

Good Luck with your business Growth

for this I would attach a flyer to each bin with a rubber band, I will bet money they have to read it before it is binned.

I would also put at the top of the flyer in bold, DOES YOUR BIN SMELL?

many of them will open it and smell it, sparking a reaction to the flyer the you ball is rolling, state a price on it for only £- we can fix this for you
If your not willing to learn, No one can help you, If you are determined to learn, No one can stop you ;)

We use a successful bin cleaning business in a place not that far from you. I've used him for years since wheelie bins were first issued. I think he put a flyer through, possible he advertised in a local free mag. I wouldn't buy from a canvasser. I buy products because I want to and not because someone is stood on my doorstep telling me I need their product.

Ours has recently set up payment by direct debit, offering a small discount but guarantees he'll get his money and less time consuming than him having to knock or call us up for payment.
