Symphony Housing Group brings together Merseyside-based Vicinity Housing
Group and Contour Housing Group in Salford to form the largest registered
social landlord based solely in the North West. The group is a regional
housing provider owning and managing almost 40 000 homes. We employ over 1
000 staff with a projected 140 000 000 GBP turnover.
Liverpool Housing Trust (LHT) is part of the Symphony Housing Group.
LHT is looking for a single competent contractor to provide a window
cleaning service across a number of sites, primarily within the Merseyside
area, but may potentially cover future cleaning services for other parts
of the Symphony Housing Group anywhere within the Northwest. Cleaning is
primarily to 2, 3 and 4 storey communal blocks of housing stock, with some
minor internal window cleaning in some sheltered/supported housing blocks.
The contract is to start in April 2013.
The outcome of the tender process will be a single contract with a single
window cleaning company. The contract will be an initial one year contract
with 5 annual options to extend by a further 12 months on each occasion up
to a maximum 6 years total contract term, subject to LHT requirements and
the performance of the successful contractor.
Potential value is approximately 110 000 GBP per annum in total. No
guarantees are given, nor are implied as to the value of works that will
be placed with the successful contractor over the potential maximum 6 year
period as future projections are estimates only at this stage. LHT accepts
no liability for any inaccuracies in the estimates provided.
The contract will be available to LHT and all other members of Symphony
Housing Group from time to time (including all subsidiary undertakings of
Symphony Housing Group from time to time), such that each of the above
will be entitled to purchase services from the contract.
TUPE is expected to apply.
