I was very nearly in a similar situation on Tuesday and i've got 6 years (every day) experience.

We have been running flat out for four months now and did some drain jetting in Derby on Saturday & Sunday night, machine sounded very gratey, a completely different tone & pitch to normal, put it down to the drain jetting nozzle being a different set up.

Went to check the engine oil on Tuesday and it was very nearly empty, filled her up and hopefully no real problems, could have been a complete engine seize up.

Even the knowing get it wrong, sorry to hear about your misfortune, don't give up on the pressure washing, if you have an ongoing contract that pays keep at it, find a way and build on it.

I am sure you are feeling crap at the moment but onward & upward eh!!!!

Rob ;D

looks very nice mate, I need to find out If the engine has blown or the pump has gone. Massive bang but I was 10 feet away so dont know where it came from.

500 mile round trip would kill me at the moment, but If its the pump, your engine would sort me out if we could get it on a pallet. What price you looking for?

btw the cord is jammed and wont pull. Does that mean anything?

Many thanks

If it was that loud a bang there will be a big hole in the pump wall and oil on the floor, I have done this as well!!!

Is there a compression release valve on the top of the unit anywhere, this should allow you to pull the cord??

Just removed the fuel and exhaust valve cover and both look bent and both are jammed. Exactly what was "repared today".

Thats not my engine - I posted it because its a genuine Honda. If you've blown the engine put the pump on a diesel Yanmar or the like. Undo the 4 bolts on the pump flange and seperate the engine from the pump and then you will will know whats ucked.

Sorry mate misunderstood you. Couple of engines close to me on ebay so might have a look at replacing.

Cheers.
