Hi gary

Do you offer free revisits with the cleaning or is your price just for cleaning the carpets.

I offer

5 Free revisits with every preimium clean to remove any stains that they are unable to remove with my Master Stain Remover.

Also Free lifetime supply of master stain remover. I dont feel that I am ripping people off because I am offering a very good service, customers return and I have a number on my maintenance plans.

This is why my prices are what they are but I know that the likes of Servicemaster and Chem dry charge a lot more than me in Hampshire/Surrey.

Cheers

Neil

Rob- mornin'. £400 a day isn't ridiculously hard to acheive. I market to affluent area's, follow up each job for referals, always visit site to quote offering cust satisfaction guarantee and so on. Not £400 a day every day but I dont often fall below £250. I reckon I do a couple of £400+ days a week. :) And rarely more than 2 jobs a day.

Have a good one

Although it only banter, please try not to insult fellow contributors.

However if they say somthing you think is wromg feel free to challenge them but in a friendly way as this creates a lively board.

Why not try holiday caravan parks in January?

Most close on 7th Jan until 1st March. Either rental fleet caravans, or get the park to put out your advert to private owners.

If you have jetting equipment, why not do a package deal; carpets and upholstery in January, Caravan exterior, paths etc in March?

Although the occasional post gets some hackles up, I feel this forum has really come alive recently and hope it continues.

Even when offence is taken, a quick apology usually follows and there is a good flow of open discussion with people talking freely.

well done guys and gals

ps.

I detect a little hostility towards the female contributors, which is sad. I know it's been excused, or glossed over, as just joking. I'm not so sure.

sorry about the few posts but i am new to this and didnt realise there were more pages and so thought my post hadnt made it......Anyway with regards the 400 pounds, a day or a week. Shouldnt we all be making at least 300 a day. If not then are we really in the right business. We should be charging what we are worth to do the cleaning not always what the job stipulates. i market to turn over between 4 and 6 hundred a day and am fortunate to have been able to do this, no reason why anyone else shouldnt either, best, Dave.

Liahona,

Do you work on your own?  Or do you employ?

Domestic, Commercial, or both?

Regards
Martin

how do you work out how much you are worth?

A fireman earns £80 a day
a nurse £68
a RSPCA officer £55

a carpet cleaner £3-400  :P :P :P
