There was an interesting thread on here about your problem, it was posted by Ian H2O, if you put a search in using 'messers ' you should find it. I suppose you haven't much history with the customer, he may be having problems you don't know about, maybe give him the benefit of the doubt and see what happens next time, but it is one to watch. Hope you get it sorted.

I cant see what the problem is here.Its not his fault you call when he is not in, The guy probably has a very busy life. If he said "call tomorrow I will have your money" maybe he would have. If you missed him you cant be sure.In this situation I would write to the customer saying, I keep missing you so please forward the payment or call you if that's a problem.Only then if you don't get it can you be sure he is a messer.I have had loads of new customers who took a while to settle in to a routine but once they did they became great customers.Dont be to hasty to write it off.
