Good day or bad day?
« on: May 31, 2012, 09:20:58 am »
Hi
Trying to decide If yesterday was good or bad.

Pw on front and drive mix of block paving and and concrete.

Loaded up at 8 got there and set up for 9.

Come 12 had coffee break all done bar rinsing and tidying up
And sanding blocks custie is that pleased had 20!slab patio
Asked if it could be done. As the blocks where still drying
And the pressure was all set up thought might as well.

Whilst doing these i was backing up and fell down the sewer as we had cover up.
Knocked myself about but ok. We get done sand the blocks.
Clean some windows we had splashed rinsed the kit and packed up
For 2. 320 quid for 5/6 hours work and bit of petrol.

Then we load up and whilst iam talking to custie my hoppo reverses
The vivaro into the neighbours car!

So 320 but neighbours bumper to pay for and the lads wages.
And iam bruised and battered from fall.

Not a perfect day by any means, but we got chips away guy
To qt the bumper 80 quid neighbor is happy hoppo will get 60.

So i made 180 for 5 hours steady work and have no broken bones
And walked away.

Whats your take good day or bad day?

I would say it was kind of indifferent. Somewhere between good and bad  :)

Agreed but being positive which is what got me thinking hence the post, i could of snapped an ankle or elbow in the fall, and the lad could have smashed the the front of the neighbours car to bits rather than just scratch it.

so i think good day really :)
