Description of the contract:
The Council are seeking a cleaning Company to operate an all year round cleaning service for a public
convenience in the specified location.
The toilets, which will need to be maintained to a high standard, are located in one of London?s busiest parks,
Finsbury Park, which is 115 acres in size and has well over 2.5 million visitors per year. The Park is run by
Haringey Parks Department,
Leisure Services.
The toilets include Male, Female and Disabled toilets. These consist of 2 urinals and 3 cubicles in the male
toilet and 4 cubicles in the female toilet, plus 1 disabled cubical and a foyer area. The toilets are situated next
to the Finsbury Park Cafe,
boating lake and play area. The toilets have a storage / service area between them. The toilets cover an area
of approximately 80 square meters for the toilets and 40 square meters for the foyer area.
The high profile location means that these toilets are extremely well used by the public. Thus a high standard
must be maintained at all times.
