ive always been in to gym and wanted to buy 1, my kids are older now and ive got a buisness now to sell to part fund it, so its now or not, i dont want to look back and think if only!!
must say i will miss the buisness, i will still clean my gym windows!!

Just out of interest really but couldn't you keep your window cleaning business running along side the gym. I understand that you will want to put your all into the Gym and that the sale of the window cleaning business would be the cash injection that you may need. But if, heaven forbid the Gym didn't take off as planned then at least you would be able to come back to us and Tosh could take the Mick out of you for a few days!

On a serious note though, is there no chance you could have the window cleaning business running along side the Gym? Then you will still have £4000 a month in your pocket and you would be less dependent on drawing a salary from your Gym. This is just a hypothetical question, you may well be in a fantastic financial position.

Window cleaning has been very good to me. But its time to move on and leave window cleaning world behind and do something  I've got passion  for.
For me it's not just about the money now days it's a life style, I'm finacially ok, and not got any debt.

good luck mate and if that was anywhere near me mate i would be seriously interested.

some people are cut out to be window cleaners, some people have a good business head, but combine the 2 and it could be serious money, if i was you i would:


I know what you mean when you have had enough and want to concentrate on your new interest, but seriously why dont you sell one van and the bulk of the work,

and keep the smaller van with enough work to keep someone going for 2-3 days per week, pay them well so they look after the work, or even rent them the van and work, take a percentage and tell them whatever extra work they pick up they can keep so long as you always get your agreed percentage = that way they have major incentive and also will look after the work as if its there own.

That way you will always have some money coming in, and if things ever went not as you have planned, you could always fall back on the window cleaning = that way both your gym and the window cleaning would grow together.

Just think you could even have noticeboard in your gym offering members reduced window cleaning, gutter cleaning, jet washing etc

and also offer your window cleaning customers cheaper gym membership, and i reckon you would be on to a serious winner straight away.

Thats DEFINATLY what i would do if i was you !
