WFP and open windows
« on: January 12, 2006, 10:19:34 pm »

Do you still WFP the windows if they are open, or do you do them when
you collect the money when they are in.

 Cheers

If need be I suppose get the ladders off the van and close them.
I have not come across this problem yet.

I push them shut if i can with the pole and so far never had a problem with water going in.
If the window is open below the small opener and it won't shut i wont clean the small opener.
I told all my customers this when i started using wfp and all were fine about it.

I have cleaned a downstairs window that opens inwards (glass only) and was surprised that no water went inside. I'm not saying in never will but i would have thought that this type of window is designed so water can't run inside.
I only cleaned it to see what would happen.

Generally i tend to leave these though

pretty easy to close windows with pole, but as Gaza says, just clean the glass as you see it. If bottom window is open and there is a top opener above then obviously give the top opener a miss.
I would never do it when collecting as then I am in my normal, eye catching attire and driving a jag ;) ;D

I would think this is a problem we would run into in the summer months, common sense and using your head will prevent flooding someones insides. ;)

I've not flooded anyones insides yet, dreading the day it happens :'(

Has it happened to anyone yet ? ???
